Honda Classic Cars is for first generation Honda Civic, Accord, Prelude and Jazz cars

Honda cars from the 1970’s and early 1980’s are now appreciated as classic cars in the UK and elsewhere.

This was a very important period for Honda. The company grew quickly and became recognised as a world-class auto manufacturer. The Civic of 1972 was a landmark car that established Honda in many markets. The Civic was well designed and well built and proved the flair that Honda was to develop in later models.

Honda cars had integrity of design and manufacture that set them apart from other makes of the time – even other Japanese makers. Contemporary road tests remarked that Hondas were comparable to European manufacturers in terms of performance and handling, and with high standards of manufacture and reliability, Honda set new standards within the industry. These were qualities that appealed to buyers then and still appeal today.

Honda Classic Cars launch seeks to encourage the interest of these early Honda cars. The site is based in the UK but Hondas were exported all over the world in basically the same form. It is hoped that by demonstrating how accomplished these attractive cars were people will be encouraged to preserve and keep them.
